I was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. I grew up in the Mennonite Brethren church (not to be confused with any version of Amish), and I was surround by Christian believers all my life. When I was 9 years old, I accepted the Lord as my Savior and have been on the journey to seek Him out and live to bring Him glory in my life. When I was in middle school, I officially caught the reading and writing bug. On long car trips I’d imagine up plot lines and even jotted several short stories down. In high school, I took Creative Writing classes, in pursuit of writing a real book. It had been a dream I’d had since elementary school.
